Description

  • Review and verify invoices from suppliers
  • Set invoices up for payment and manage payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Produce monthly reports and assist with month end closing
  • Maintain vendor files and correspondence with vendors
  • Support the wider accounting team with various tasks as required

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software
