Your Mission: Make a Difference Every Day
As an Inclusion Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive academic setting.
What You'll Be Doing: Your Daily Impact
- Empower Students: Provide 1:1 support for students with diverse needs.
- Implement Strategies: Implement inclusion strategies in line with the school’s policies.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure progress.
- Tailor Support Plans: Assist in the development and implementation of individualised support plans for students, tailoring strategies and resources to meet their specific needs.
- Monitor Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting support strategies as necessary.
- Share Insights: Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and strategies for supporting students’ learning and well-being.
- Foster Inclusivity: Help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
- Adapt Techniques: Employ different instructional techniques and materials to cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Communicate Effectively: Keep detailed notes on students’ development and communicate this information to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
What You Bring to the Table: Your Superpowers
- Experience: Experience working with students with diverse needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
- Trust and Rapport: Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
- Patience and Empathy: Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
- Additional Qualifications: Additional qualifications or training in special education or inclusion management are advantageous but not mandatory, providing you with additional skills and knowledge to support students effectively.
