An exclusive collection of stylish apartments based in Hull are looking for someone well organised and highly professional to take the lead on the day to day running of this beautiful location.

Introduction:

The job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to ensure this stunning venue responds effectively to the requirements of the company and its customers.

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager will co-ordinate the direct day-to-day operations with a view to consistently delivering performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest satisfaction, and property management responsibilities.

The role is hands on and customer facing.

The Operations Manager will oversee the guest service function to ensure corrective actions are taken to resolve guest/tenant requirements and complaints and to ensure high levels of service are always delivered. The Operations Manager will oversee operations to ensure optimum performance and continual improvement in five key result areas (guest service, sales, employee satisfaction, property appearance, and Health and Safety). They will suggest and contribute to making changes to develop and improve existing processes and procedures for continuous development and improvement of the business and its operations.

The role includes supporting employees, ensuring employee morale is maintained, managing any employee issues or concerns and wage cost control. They will contribute to HR matters including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, performing appraisals, performance management, and preparing rotas to ensure the smooth running of the business. The Operations Manager will ensure personal appearances are professional whilst suitable for the working environment. The Operations Manager will ensure that quality standards are met in all areas as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness. They will support in preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the venue.

The role includes ensuring the compliance with company policy and standard operating procedures. Monitoring and always maintaining standards of compliance and quality. Liaise and co-operate with the General Manager.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The Operations Manager is expected to work in other areas of the business when needed to assist operations and to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description. The Operations Manager must ensure wellbeing of oneself and promote a healthy work life balance for themselves and their fellow employees.

Key RequirementsThe ability to communicate with a wide range of different audiences in a professional and warm manner Be proficient in Microsoft including email, word, excel.

Have knowledge of OTAs, channel management and reservations systems Be a good team player with a flexible approach to tasks and have a willingness to cover sickness and holidays Be highly motivated, punctual, reliable and showing initiative Experience as a duty manager or supervisory role.
