The role:Account Manager – Build Strong Customer Relationships & Drive Growth Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for an opportunity to develop strong customer partnerships and drive sales growth? This role offers a balance between office-based work and European travel, making it ideal for someone with experience managing European customers who enjoys both strategic planning and face-to-face interactions.Your duties:
  • Identify customer needs and drive aftermarket sales by offering tailored solutions.
  • Meet sales, revenue, and gross margin targets for aftermarket revenue streams.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships, ensuring effective forecasting, planning, and purchasing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to align project specifications with client requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Engage with EMEA customers; an additional language would be beneficial.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to finalise contracts.
  • Assist in forecasting and strategic planning.
What do you need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (preferred).
  • At least five years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account management.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and mechanical processes.
  • Fluency in English; additional European or Asian languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, up to 50% of the year.
  • Experience using a recognised CRM system.
