CNC Turner required to join a well-established dynamic and reputable engineering company based in Hull that specialize in precision engineering. They are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join their team and assist with the Programming Setting and Operating of XYZ CNC Lathes.
CNC Turner Job Overview- Operate and set CNC lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Program CNC machines
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure components meet required tolerances.
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop environment.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner or similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
- Understanding of CNC programming and operations
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full time - Permanent
- Monday - Friday 37 hour week
- Salary - £16 - £18 per hour depending on skills an experience
