Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30

Our client, a highly skilled contractor and merchant in the construction industry, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the organisation, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of projects.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking customer calls and arranging appointments for site visits.
  • Performing adhoc administrative duties to support the team.
  • Liaising with site staff to have an overview of ongoing projects and their progress.
  • Arranging quotations and organising payment schedules.
  • Acting as the point of contact for customers throughout the duration of the projects.
  • Placing orders with suppliers and managing stock levels.
  • Issuing relevant paperwork to site staff for ongoing projects and tenders.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in contract administration or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
