ElectricalEngineer - Hull
The purpose of theElectricalEngineeris to support the Area Operations Manager (AOM) and Technical Supervisor by providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance for buildingengineering systems and services.
Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repair low voltage (LV)electricalsystems as directed and log status on the CMMS.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
* Maintain low voltage (LV)electricalsystems and perform PPM routines.
* Repair and maintainelectricalequipment and fixtures.
* Deliver small projects and assist with project handovers.
* Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
* Diagnose and repair faults.
* Calibrate risk assessments for maintenance tasks.
* Liaise with helpdesk for task responses.
* Maintain site logbooks, compliance certification, and produce reports.
* Participate in emergency call-out services and support cost reduction efforts.
* Support team with any other needs as requested by Technical Supervisor and/or AOM.
Person Specification:
* Perform skilled work requiring technical training (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
* Willing to undertake CBRE refresher training in;
o Emergency Circuit Breaker and Fuse Theory
o Emergency Lighting Testing and Light Fitting Replacement, including Safe Isolation.
o Water Heater Testing, including Safe Isolation.
o Fire Alarm Testing.
Essential Qualifications:
* Must have completed an apprentice or equivalent formal training inelectricalinstallation and maintenance, including sufficient practical experience to be assessed aselectrically competent.
* Must hold a City and Guilds Level 3 technical certificate or equivalent in anelectricaldiscipline.
* Must hold a City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in the requirements forelectricalinstallations BS 7671 (18th Edition). Note: In exceptional cases, an applicant without this qualification may still be considered, provided the qualification is obtained within 3 months from date of appointment.
