Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a leading Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area. The company operates as a key building, repairs, and maintenance contractor, currently employing around 500 people with a turnover of £50 million. With ambitious growth plans in place, they are looking to expand their team.
Job Description
This role is primarily focused on domestic properties, carrying out a variety of electrical tasks, including:
- General electrical repairs
- Rewires, refurbishments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades in both occupied and unoccupied properties
- Electrical installation condition reports
- Installation and upgrades of smoke alarm systems
- Fault finding and repairs
- Electrical installation work for new contracts
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- AM2 or equivalent
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
- CSCS Card (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: £39,817Â
- 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
- Defined benefit pension scheme with employer contributions of approximately 18.5%
- 21 days’ annual leave, increasing to 26 days after 5 years’ service (plus 8 bank holidays)
- £600 annual attendance bonus (paid bi-annually)
- Call-out rota and standby allowance (£700 per full week)
