Civils Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Civil Site Engineer on behalf of a thriving civil engineering contractor to work on projects across East Yorkshire, Humberside & North East Lincolnshire mainly.

This regional main contractor has been established over 30 years and has a substantial amount of work in the pipeline in the region from varied clients including local authorities & councils. They are huge on growing staff internally and are ideally on the lookout for a Site Engineer of any level who is looking to progress their engineering skills and move up to management in due course.

Projects: highways construction, junction improvements, s278 works, structures, deep drainage, ports / marinas, heavy civils etc. Project valus from £500k up to £15m - all delivered as main contractor with strong self-delivery capabilities

Duties/Responsibilities include:

• Setting out
• Take off's to include for materials
• Manage sub-contractor works
• Managing direct workforce
• Call off materials
• As-builts and surveys
• Quality assurance & quality control

Experience required:

• Must have experience working as Site Engineer in a Civil Engineering capacity.
• Must have experience with: highways, s278 works, concrete, deep drainage etc.
• Must be competent with some relevant kit: Total Station/Leica, Topcon, CAD etc.
• Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering).
• Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.

Remuneration:

A salary of up to £45,000 (dependant upon experience) plus:

Company vehicle or allowance, annual profit share bonus, fuel card, 25 days + stat annual leave, pension scheme and other benefits.
