Plumbing and Heating Engineer
Salary - £18 - 19ph
Hull - HU10
Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (OT available)

Main duties and responsibilities of the Plumbing and Heating Engineer:

  • Complete general reactive and planned duties for plumbing and heating.
  • Working on own or alongside the installation team.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems in domestic and commercial properties.
  • Install boilers, water heaters, radiators, and underfloor heating systems.
  • Fit bathrooms, kitchens, and utility plumbing fixtures such as taps, sinks, showers, toilets, and baths.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in central heating and hot water systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Carry out gas safety checks and issue certificates.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including job reports, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including safe handling of tools, chemicals, and equipment.


Experience/knowledge requirements for the Plumbing and Heating Engineer:

  • Qualified plumber or time served equivalent.
  • Gas safe registered.
  • Experience with underfloor heating/heat pumps would be advantageous.
  • Domestic and commercial plumbing experience.
  • Flexible to travel if required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to complete job sheets on work management systems.
