Our client is a large company in the Transport & Distribution industry. With a workforce of over 2000, they have a significant presence in Hull and around the country.

Description

  • Develop high level approach and plan to review and strengthen current control environment, including prioritisation framework
  • Update risk register and internal controls library (with approval from appropriate HRLT) and ensure these are fully aligned
  • The HR Controls Lead will work with process owners, ensuring an effective, and up to date, HR Controls Library is documented and embedded in all operational processes.
  • Review and make suggestions on process and procedural documents
  • Undertake testing in key control areas and establish a framework for testing on an ongoing basis.

Profile

A successful Controls Lead (HR) should have:

  • A background in audit planning and testing is essential for this role, ideally in an HR environment
  • Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work independently and build understanding and capability in HR team
  • Experience in a governance and control function
