Are you looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and make a difference? Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking two dedicated individuals to join their Overpayments team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Overpayments team, providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities:

Make decisions on the recoverability and collection of overpayments, taking into account individual financial circumstances and following established procedures.
Negotiate repayment plans with overpayment recipients, monitor and review payment progress.
Review and reclassify overpayment subsidy classifications to comply with statutory obligations and maintain accurate financial and statistical records for the organisation.
Stay up to date with current legislation, guidance, and best practises to ensure compliance and provide informed solutions.

Required qualifications and skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
Able to make informed decisions and negotiate effectively.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
