Salary: £162.31 - £223.63 per day (Depending on experience)

A primary school in Hull is looking for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team, with the potential to take on the KS2 Lead role for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to combine classroom teaching with leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities of the Year 6 Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that prepare Year 6 pupils for their transition to secondary school.

Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support to ensure every child achieves their potential.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the KS2 curriculum.

Take on additional responsibilities as KS2 Lead, if applicable, to support staff and improve outcomes across the key stage.
Requirements for the Year 6 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum.

Leadership experience or the ambition to take on a leadership role is desirable.

Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.

A commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
