KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors.Job Title: Education and Training ManagerLocation: North/East Yorkshire - Centre basedSalary: up to £45,000 (Depending on experience)Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + Much More!Type: Full Time, PermanentAn exciting new opportunity to be at the forefront of mobilising a brand-new education site!The successful candidate will build and lead an education team, drive the development and delivery of quality learning, and ensure the curriculum meets the diverse needs of the learners. Duties:
  • To ensure contract performance is maximised through the monitoring of contractual obligations, performance targets, curriculum delivery and quality assurance targets.
  • Responsible for curriculum development in line with the needs of our client, local labour market and employers.
  • Working closely with delivery staff to ensure all financial and contractual targets are met and exceeded.
  • Ensuring that internal and external procedure are adhered to ensure that contracts are run compliantly (e.g., achieving low risk audits; accurate and timely claims). 
  • Recruitment of staff.
  • Identification of development opportunities through sourcing and securing new leads to expand income streams for the department.
  • To maintain and develop positive partnerships, both internally and externally.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold a relevant first degree and/or professional teaching qualification.
  • Experience of the OFSTED framework and standards.
  • Must hold teaching experience.
  • Must have experience of successful curriculum development and change.
  • Strong leadership and performance management experience and skillset.
  • Experience of Quality Assurance.
  • Ability to inspire, lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.
