HGV TECHNICIAN
We are recruiting an experienced HGV / LGV Technician to join a market leader in specialist industrial service based in Hull. This is a Permanent Vacancy with great opportunities to progress, offering a payrate of 40,000 + PLUS bonus and increased holiday entitlement!!

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week plus opportunity of overtime
Start date / Duration
The HGV Technician role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.
Job description
As a HGV Technician you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles to a high maintenance standard. Day to day you will be expect to;
- Carry out minor to major mechanical repairs
- Inspect vehicles for works that may need to be carried out
- Carry out routine services
- Be competent in using diagnostic equipment
- Be able to interpret and complete paperwork
- Be approachable for our customers
The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of HGV Technician you must;
- Be a "Time Served" technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications
- Have experience in truck repairs
- Have your own full set of tools
- Have a basic knowledge of computers
- Be able to complete relevant paperwork
- Be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Hold a full UK Driving License
