We're currently recruiting a QA Technician to help maintain high technical standards in the factory, ensuring compliance with both legislation and customer requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Our Client is searching for successful candidates that are reliable, flexible, self-motivated and hardworking, to which could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular label and process control audits, ensuring documentation is accurate and issues are addressed in real time.
- Perform temperature checks on sterilisers, hand washing stations, product samples, and the environment.
- Collect chemical, microbiological, and sensory samples in line with schedules.
- Complete calibration checks and accurately record findings.
- Conduct hygiene inspections before operations begin and report any failures immediately.
- Perform GMP and fabrication audits, ensuring corrective actions are communicated and completed.
- Verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and report any non-conformance's.
- Ensure non-conformance's are resolved and preventive measures are implemented.
- Assess finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Carry out raw material intake checks to confirm they meet specifications.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification (essential)
- Experience in a QA/Technical role in food manufacturing
- FMCG experience (advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
