- Perform fault finding and repair (FFR) on tooling equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Create and produce high-precision dies and tooling, ensuring adherence to technical standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and complete regular inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of tooling processes.
- Proven experience as a Tooling Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on skills in producing dies and tooling.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills on various tooling machinery.
- Knowledge of best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.
- A proactive approach to teamwork and communication.
- £42,000 plus overtime, pension, life assurance , 25 days hols plus stats
