Office Angels Hull are proudly working with an established healthcare organisation to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Operations Manager to lead their team and ensure the highest standards of care and support are provided to their clients. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a caring and supportive environment while managing the staff team and promoting their development.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the achievement of our client's aims and objectives, providing individualised care and support to each client.
  • Maintain compliance with our client's system, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the management and performance of all staff members.
  • Deliver necessary training to the team and identify additional development or training needs.
  • Ensure effective supervision and monitoring of staff performance.
  • Foster excellent communication and teamwork among all staff, facilitating regular team meetings.
  • Oversee the recruitment and appointment process for new staff members.
  • Maintain successful operation of quality control systems and risk management processes.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, both manual and computerised.
  • Handle payroll preparation and processing, as well as invoice management.
  • Implement an efficient complaints procedure and liaise with clients, relatives, representatives, and social workers.
  • Prepare management reports to provide insights into the business's performance.
  • Work within agreed budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Actively participate in local marketing exercises to support business growth and development.

Qualifications/ experience:

  • Previous experience in healthcare operations management or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and support.
