Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Materials Handling Engineer based in Hull
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift or Materials Handling Engineer to join their team. As a engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of machinery incluidng Forklift trucks, Pallet Trucks, Lifiting Equipment, Low Level Access and more
On Offer:
- 30,000 - 40,000 Basic Salary for a 40 hour week

Requirements:
- Experience in maintaining and repairing machinery such as Forklift trucks, Pallet Trucks, Lifiting Equipment, Low Level Access and more
- Strong technical knowledge of mobile powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms
- IPAF certification for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
- LOLER certification for thorough examinations of lifting equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- NVQ level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholder
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A valid driver's license.
- Experience working on machinery from a range of manufacturers, including Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Haulotte, JCB, and Pecolift, among others.
