Part-Time Document Controller

Location: West HullHours: 2 days a week (16 hours)Rate: £13 per hour

Role Overview: Join the team as a Document Controller, where you'll manage and archive documentation related to the Product Document Change process. You'll ensure product changes are accurately recorded and released across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Management: Ensure adherence to the product change process across all site areas.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of current and completed product change requests, including all relevant documentation and drawings.
  • Support & Advice: Champion the product change process, providing necessary advice and support.
  • Manuals & Charts: Update and maintain product manuals and configuration charts, including arranging translation services for overseas versions.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and improve documentation processes, including designing new technical document types.

About You:

  • Experience: Experienced in writing technical documents in a manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Advanced word processing skills (document layout, tables, fields, formatting, page setting).
  • Software Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Access and Project.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiar with typical product change management processes.
  • Communication: Excellent written, IT, and verbal communication skills.
  • IT Literacy: Comfortable using PCs and tablets.
  • Personal Traits: Motivated, good time management, calm under pressure.

Schedule: Flexible, but 100% site-based.
