Exams Manager

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an Exams Manager to work on a full time (35 hours per week) basis at an education setting in Hull. This will be starting ASAP, and lasting as long as a staff member is off sick for. Currently this is estimated to be April 4th 2025, but may extend in the future. Payment for this position will be £200 - £240 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a temporary role.

This role will involve line managing the examinations team, in an existing department with several exams officers in place. You will be responsible for ensuring the entries for exams are correct and that the setting remain complaint with JCQ and other regulations. Other duties for this role include:

  • Recruitment and selection of casual exam invigilators
  • Liaising with any external agencies
  • Manage the collation of exam entries for exam series
  • Keep an up to date knowledge and understanding of JCQ regulations and specifications
  • Maintain student records and data
  • Support the ethos of the setting

Located in Hull, this setting is easily accessible from most areas of Hull via public transport, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who do drive. As a highly regarded educational setting, they are extremely proud of their exam results and their examinations team, and are looking for a practitioner who can guide them to further success.
