Part-Time Payroll Administrator

Salary: up to £30,000 Full Time Equivalent

Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large manufacturing client in the Hull area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Working for an established business and on a part time basis, the client is looking for someone to work between 16 and 20 hours a week.

Reporting into the payroll manager you will be responsible for processing a weekly and monthly payroll as part of a finance department.

  • Role itself is an office based role- working from the Hull office
  • System - Opera.

  • Running Payroll
  • Resolving and spotting errors
  • Running the payroll weekly & monthly and ensuring all processes are correct
  • Deductions - Tax/NI
  • Autoenrollment
  • Queries
  • Processing SSP/SMP/SPP
  • Manual calculations
  • Strong Excel skills are crucial
