This position as a Procurement Manager is a critical role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department of a respected firm in the Transport & Distribution industry. Description

  • Lead food procurement strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Managing a small team to ensure the smooth execution of procurement on a daily basis

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager - Food, should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Proven experience within procurement, open to sector experience.
  • Exposure to an FMCG environment would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of food procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
