Skills Coach - Adult Social Care

Reed Further Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Skills Coach in Adult Social Care to join our team. This role requires a Level 5 Leadership qualification in Adult Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, review, assess, monitor, and track learners in the vocational field.
  • Deliver learning, training, coaching, and assessment to meet employer and learner needs.
  • Undertake Internal Verification duties.
  • Maintain compliance with apprenticeship funding rules.
  • Promote digital skills and use college IT systems.
  • Provide an inclusive learning environment with enrichment activities.
  • Offer information, careers advice, and guidance on work-based programmes.
  • Represent the college with employers to ensure repeat business.
  • Participate in promotional and open events.
  • Embed Functional Skills into delivery to challenge and develop learners’ English and Maths skills.
  • Ensure timely progress and achievement of all elements, including Functional Skills.
