This employer is an established group of UK companies that both manufacture and distribute a vast array of 30,000 + electrical and electronic products and components to over 50 countries world-wide. Working with electrical distribution, wholesale and the OEM sector on a branded and white label basis. This employer is in an exciting phase of its future growth.
The Opportunity
This is a business development role working on the East side of the M1 and focusing on the growth of the electrical wholesale channel. Due to recent mergers and acquisitions, the customer solution has strengthened and become much broader and there is superb opportunity to achieve growth through cross selling other product lines into these active customers and increasing the value of the accounts. This is warm business development focused on the EWS channel.
The Desired Applicant
We are seeking and enthusiastic and positive sales professional that is confident in their ability to business develop and engage with clients and grow accounts across a given territory. You will be experienced within the electrical sector, be this in electrical wholesale or with a manufacturer or within distribution, but you will understand the sector. We are open to applications from existing business development professionals and also to applications from driven internal sales professional from within the electrical sector who are hungry for advancement and career growth. This role would ideally suit a can do candidate who is not daunted by getting around a lot of customer accounts, can work independently and at times in quite a fast-paced environment.
