Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment to build student confidence and encourage engagement.
  • Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a focus on SEN.
  • Genuine passion for supporting SEN students and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach to student needs.
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential if you have relevant classroom experience).
  • Flexibility on working schedules.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
