Day-to-Day Life: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting students with personal care needs, where necessary.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
- DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check on the update service is required.
- Skills: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
