A leading food manufacturer based in Hull is seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Manager to join their dedicated team. The Role
As a QA Manager, you will:
- Leadthe quality assurance team to perform routine inspections, audits, and assessments across production processes.
- Implementcorrective actions and continuous improvement strategies to enhance quality standards.
- Manage product testing and maintaining traceability throughout production stages.
- Coordinatewith external bodies, including regulatory authorities and customers, to ensure compliance.
- Ensuretraining and development of the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The Candidate
The successful QA Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the food manufacturing industry.
- A deep understanding of food safety standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP, ISO).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
- Relevant qualifications in food safety, quality management, or similar fields are advantageous.
