MS581 - Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Lambourn Salary: £25,396 per annum (van will be provided for work use only)Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for our clients. This position will have the successful candidate carry out general grounds maintenance for the businesses client. The regular hours are from 0700 to 1530 Monday to Friday with a daily half-hour unpaid break, totalling 40 hours per week.Applications from ex-military personnel are actively encouraged however, all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and responsibilities:
- Grass cutting.
- Strimming.
- Hedge cutting.
- Litter picking.
- Emptying bins.
- Weeding.
- Tree works.
- Ensuring all tools are safe to use and are looked after by team crew members.
- Client liaison while on site carrying out ground’s services.
- Report back any issues to the Head of grounds.
- Compliance with company health & safety and environmental procedures and current legislation.
Skills and qualification:
- PA1 & PA6 Certificates.
- 3 years experience working within grounds maintenance.
- Driving licence essential.
- Past experience essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to prioritise work load in order to complete all tasks to high standards.
- Good time management.
- DBS check.
- Must be able to look after and maintain the equipment.
- Experience in using ride on mowers and other petrol power tools.
