Oakleaf Partnership are working with a dynamic and growing international organisation on an exciting HR Advisor role. This role is the initial point of contact for all HR-related support across the business and offers autonomy. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a wide range of people practices, ensuring high standards in HR service and alignment with company values. This is a permanent position is based in Hungerford with potential for UK and European travel.

The Role

As the HR Advisor, you will report into the Head of HR, UK & Europe and will provide hands-on HR support, managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and best practices in HR administration, recruitment, and employee relations. You'll collaborate with line managers and employees, offering guidance on policies, performance management, and employee well-being. In addition to supporting payroll and maintaining accurate HR records, you will contribute to key HR projects such as TUPE transfers, HR systems implementation, and harmonisation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration: Manage personnel records, contract updates, and benefit provisions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Recruitment & Selection: Partner with hiring managers on effective recruitment strategies, maintain career pages, and build relationships with candidates and recruitment partners.
  • Employee Relations: Advise on employee life-cycle matters including absence, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with company policies.
  • Payroll & Compliance: Support payroll accuracy, conduct Visa/Immigration checks, and assist in implementing HR initiatives across the business.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a busy HR environment, providing first-level HR support, and be skilled in HR Information Systems, with Soridian or Dayforce experience desired. You will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification and be proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Adaptability, resilience, and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this varied role.
