Accounts TechnicianSt IvesSalary £30,000 - £40,000

Butler Rose are recruiting for an Accounts Technician to join a well-established accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone part or fully qualified in AAT (or qualified by experience), looking to work across a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns for a variety of clients.
  • Assist with VAT returns, management accounts, and bookkeeping using software like Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Provide projections, forecasts, and tailored management information.
  • Support audit processes, attend client premises when required, and manage client records.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
