As the Project Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our projects stay on track financially, helping them to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You’ll be the financial backbone behind their projects, working hand-in-hand with the talented engineers and project managers to keep everything running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:- Implement and improve project accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy- Manage the financial oversight and reporting of assigned construction projects, including monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cost variances- Prepare and analyse monthly project performance reports including profit and loss, cashflow and work in progress. - Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational objectives- Conduct regular reviews of project budgets - Collate monthly KPI data - Assist the Finance Manager with the production of the management accountsYou must have previous exposure to working in a project accounting role and have proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting and budget management for large scale projects.
