Accounts and Audit (Semi) Senior

Location: Huntingdon

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in audit? Do you thrive in a dynamic and client-focused environment? We are currently seeking an Accounts and Audit (Semi) Senior to join a reputable and progressive accountancy practice in Huntingdon. 

Responsibilities:- Assist with planning and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.- Perform risk assessments, financial analysis, and internal control evaluations.- Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and tax computations.- Provide guidance to junior team members and review their work for accuracy and completeness.- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and providing exceptional service.- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:- Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.- Demonstrated experience in audit and accounts preparation within an accountancy practice.- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
