My Local Government client is looking for a CCAB qualified candidate to join them on a permanent basis as a Senior Finance Business Partner - Housing Revenues Accountant (HRA). Reporting into the Head of Finance, your role will be to deliver an efficient, effective and client-oriented Finance Business Partnering offering excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance and overall value for money. You will also create a culture which empowers budget holders and staff and supports the delivery of value for money services, including reporting on benchmark information and key cost drivers.

You role as Senior Finance Business Partner will be a key member of the Senior Finance Management team and will also be responsible for contributing towards the production of the council's statutory accounts, government returns, grant claims, and other project work as directed by the Head of Finance. You will also deputise for the Head of Finance as and when

required.

This is a permanent role with a salary band of £50,788 - £55,021 and to be successful you will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant and have previous experience in local government finance and with Housing Revenues Accounting. The role is being offered with hybrid working options and days in the office each month can be agreed to suit.
