Our client in Godmanchester is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
The role involves managing the purchase ledger, maintaining the fixed asset register, and processing sales orders, among other bookkeeping duties.
Candidates should ideally have an AAT qualification and experience in the R&D industry, with familiarity in SUN accounts being a plus.
The position offers a salary range of £25,000 to £30,000 and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Our client based in Godmanchester near Huntingdon are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.Reporting into the Financial Controller, the duties will include but not be limited to;

Running the purchase ledger
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Sales order processing
Daily banking
General ad-hoc bookkeeping duties

As well as supporting within the finance team, it is also required to work closely with the purchasing team to ensure all transactions and processes run smoothly, within a timely manner.Someone with an AAT qualification would be preferred, or with experience working within the R&D industry. Although not essential, experience of using SUN accounts would also be beneficial.There is the opportunity for some form of hybrid working within this role. Other benefits include;
