Great opportunity to work as a New Product Development (NPD) Picker for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

Staffline is recruiting for an NPD Picker to work in Alconbury.

This is a temp to perm role opportunity for the right candidate! Your own vehicle is required due to the location.

This is a full-time role, the shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are
- 8am to 5pm.

The rate of pay is £12.49 per hour

Your Time at Work

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our floral production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Collecting individual flower stems from the warehouse and NPD chiller based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) and schedules.
- Maintaining a clean, stocked, and orderly chiller to support florists in creating beautiful bouquets.
- Managing stock rotation and inspecting the quality of incoming stock.
- Tracking stock deliveries and assisting florists with additional requests.
- Accurately scanning and labelling products using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure timely availability of materials for florists.
- Conduct daily stock counts and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the NPD team with picking and delivering materials efficiently.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and uphold a 'clean as you go' policy.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal NPD picker will have prior warehouse experience, although full on-site training will be provided.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills are essential.

Basic knowledge of flowers is a plus, and training will cover this aspect. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and WMS is also preferred.
