Data Quality Officer£16 - £18 per hour6 month contract Alconbury, Cambridgeshire

Responsible for maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by identifying and resolving quality issues, supporting data cleansing, and promoting a culture of data integrity to enhance decision-making reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Monitoring: Review case management systems to detect inconsistencies, errors, and missing information using reports and data quality tools.
  • Data Cleansing: Correct errors through manual updates or automated processes.
  • Validation & Governance: Ensure data aligns with standards and assist in maintaining data quality policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Educate teams on best practices and accurate data entry.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify root causes of issues and support preventive solutions.
  • Data Migration: Assist with transferring data from legacy to new systems.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot data patterns.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of data quality metrics and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
