Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily care and development of children, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Help plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and social development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Assist with feeding, changing, and general care routines as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
  • Observe and record children's progress and development.
  • Promote equal opportunities and inclusion for all children.

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for working with young children and a genuine interest in their development.
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A positive, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills in line with early years best practices.
  • A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare) would be an advantage but not required.
  • Enhanced DBS check (can be provided if not already in place).
