SEN Support Worker

We are working with an independent childrens day nursery who are currently looking for an SEN Support Worker for their nursery setting in Huntingdon.

The nursery places a strong focus on staff recognition, providing the opportunity for both development and progression.

Position Details

Your role:

  • Working alongside colleagues to provide a stimulating and enabling educational environment
  • Planning and delivering activities to extend childrens learning and development
  • Monitoring, assessing and recording childrens progress
  • Completing observations and implementing next steps to support childrens development

What you will need:

  • Early Years childcare qualification its preferred but not essential
  • Experience working in a Nursery or School environment
  • A firm understanding of the EYFS welfare and learning requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
