This brand new role within the People Team will focus on Policy and Culture - an opportunity to strengthen the business's people plan across policy management, initiatives and enhancing the current culture.

Salary: £41,000 - £47,000

Location: Huntingdon, with travel across the county

Hybrid working: 1 day working from home

Considering candidates both on a full-time and part-time basis (minimum of 30 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead People Group initiatives - delivering initiatives in line with frameworks and policies, provide regular reporting and updates within meetings, collaborate with the communications and engagement team.
  • Coaching and influencing - Working with managers to develop their understanding of policies and people group initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to develop and deliver policies to improve and support personal development
  • Policies and Procedures - Lead on policy and procedure reviews, developing policies fit for purpose, delivering training on policies and initiatives
  • Culture - Promoting and leading internal peer meetings, support and advise ambassadors, champion equality impact assessments, develop and implement appropriate governance, monitoring and reporting arrangements relating to ED&I and culture plans

In order to be considered for this role you must have a CIPD qualification at Level 5 or be actively working towards it. You will also posses experience across policy management, have led training on policy changes and have experience leading peer groups.

Naturally, you will have strong stakeholder management skills, have a coaching nature and be purpose driven.
