Job Title: Finance Business PartnerLocation: PeterboroughAbout the Role:My client who is a widely recognised brand is seeking an experienced Finance Business partner to take on a pivotal role at their site just outside Peterborough. The Finance Business Partner will be a critical member of the Commercial Finance team and will partner the COO and other key stakeholders across the business. The role will report into the Head of Commercial Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for continuous improvement. As the link between the site team and the Group Head Office, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Senior stakeholder management particularly with the COO and Operations Leadership Team.
  • Working with key stakeholders to explore areas of strategic change and how this can lead to reduced operating costs and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Producing business cases to support recommended areas of change ensuring impacts are accurately measured and impacts understood.
  • Provision of coherent, concise reporting of operational performance, focusing on financial and non-financial KPIs, with key drivers understood.
  • Leading regular reviews with the manufacturing management team of performance, focusing on both material and labour impacts.
  • Working with stakeholders to critically evaluate the ability to meet targets, identifying areas of risk and/or opportunities to improve performance.
  • Ensuring that there is a solid understanding of cost across the Leadership Team, thereby promoting informed decision making with a cost-conscious mindset.
  • Preparing detailed Budget models for manufacturing, together with monthly forecast updates. Extensive analytical review, focusing on year-on-year movements of both volumes and cost, with key focus on labour and materials.  
  

About You:

  • A qualified or part-qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different departments.
  • A critical thinker who is curious about the business and excited to support and challenge the business to deliver against ambitious growth targets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious finance professional
