Are you an experienced quality professional with a passion for food safety and excellence? Do you have a knack for leading teams and driving continuous improvement? We are looking for a dedicated QA Manager to take charge of our quality function and lead a small but highly efficient department to new heights.

About the Role:

As the QA Manager, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to quality and food safety, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards. Reporting directly to senior management, you will lead and inspire a small team, driving continuous improvement across all quality processes and systems. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and compliance within the industry.

What You’ll Do:

-          Lead the Quality Function: Oversee and manage the quality assurance department, ensuring all processes align with industry standards and regulations.

-          Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement and monitor quality initiatives that enhance product safety, consistency, and overall quality.

-          Ensure Compliance: Maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety standards and customer requirements.

-          Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

-          Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with other departments, including production, procurement, and technical teams, to ensure quality is upheld at every stage of the process.

-          Audit & Inspection Management: Prepare for and lead external audits, ensuring traceability, compliance, and readiness across the business.

-          Crisis & Risk Management: Manage responses to any quality or food safety issues, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.

What We’re Looking For:

-          Proven experience in quality assurance within the food industry, with a deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations.

-          Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.

-          Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

-          A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

-          Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and a strong track record in audit preparation and management.
