- Design and develop VHDL for FPGAs projects within hardware design.
- Create detailed specifications for FPGA interfaces and other devices.
- Verify and debug FPGA designs, including creating test benches, in-system debugging, and integrating with PC software.
- Participate in selecting FPGAs for new designs.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, specifications and timelines, adhering to relevant standards.
- Perform design calculations/simulations and prototyping to estimate performance, reliability and mitigate high-risk areas.
- Assist in testing and verifying electronic hardware.
- Contribute to design reviews.
- Provide support for existing products and collaborate with the technical support team as needed.
- Contribute to the planning and estimation of product design tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
- Digital /Analogue design.
- VHDL/Verilog FPGA design.
- Experience with fault-finding / debugging and awareness of various test methodologies and simulation tools.
- Firmware / C# software experience.
