Walker Cole International is searching for a Preclinical Programme Manager to join an industry leading Biotechnology Company based in the UK. As a Preclinical Programme Manager you will be responsible for strategic assessment and development of therapies in the group discovery portfolio.

As Preclinical Programme Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting the strategy of study design and execution across the group.
  • Supporting a small team of experienced scientists delivering project execution.
  • Working closely with regulatory colleagues to prepare preclinical / non-clinical regulatory documentation.
  • As the Preclinical programme manager, you will develop protocals and review study reports for all preclinical programmes.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and ensure efficiency and colloboration throughout.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree, Masters or PhD in relevant discipline.
  • Extensive preclinical / R&D experience.
  • Experience in leading and integrating cross-functional teams, including professionals across translational, biology, chemistry and pahrmacology.
  • Expertise in early drug discovery from Lead ID to candidate selection, including preparation for IND submission and approval.
