About the Role

Lynx Employment Services is seeking a Document Controller to support our client on a key project in Huntingdon, Cambridge. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in document management, compliance, and administrative support within the construction or engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation, records, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Organize and control document workflows, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of files.
  • Ensure document version control, tracking changes and updates to technical and project-related files.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to coordinate document submissions and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality management procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
  • Use document control systems (such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar platforms) to maintain document integrity.
  • Handle general administrative duties related to document management, including scanning, filing, and archiving.

Requirements:

? Previous experience in a Document Controller role, preferably within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.? Proficiency in document management software (Aconex, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar).? Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.? Ability to work independently and proactively, managing deadlines and priorities effectively.? Knowledge of ISO quality management systems and document compliance processes.? Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
