Description
As the Organics Lab Manager you will:
- Line manage the organics lab function (circa 20 scientists) to deliver accurate and timely data against agreed time-frames
- Adhere to the company QMS and associated standards (ISO17025)
- Support and deliver on projects extending service offerings, be that improvement to method performance or extension to scope
- Organise and manage maintenance of instruments (preventative and reactive)
Profile
To be successful you will have:
- A strong background in analytical chemistry with a bias for organic analysis
- An understanding / experience working with key analytical methods (HPLC, GC-MS, GC-FID etc)
- Experience managing a team in a high-throughput lab setting
- An understanding of the environmental testing sector (desirable)
