MET Technician

We are currently recruiting for an MET Technician for a very busy bodyshop for a national accident repair centre.

The general role will involve being able to follow methods that involve repairing customers' vehicles to a high standard.

Role Responsibilities

• Assessing damage of vehicles in terms of mechanical and electrical components

• Using diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair electrical faults

• Stripping and refitting parts on a vehicle that have been damaged

• Repairing or replacing damaged panels and components to a required standard

• Fixing mechanical damage

• Aligning wheels

• Ordering required parts from parts department

• Working from job sheets

• Prepare invoices on completed work

Role Requirements

• ATA qualified

• 3 years' experience within motor vehicle refinishing trade

• Attention to detail

• Quality control

• Ability to work under pressure

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Safety conscious

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)

Salary (phone number removed) plus up to 800 monthly bonus, depending on experience.
