Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Stroke ESD and CNRS Service. You will work autonomously within the multi-professional team to provide specialist assessments and interventions for patients with complex neurological conditions. You will manage a caseload, provide therapy interventions, and support junior staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Assess and develop therapy programs for patients with complex neurological conditions. Plan and implement rehabilitation to meet physical, functional, and cognitive needs.
  • Autonomous Practice: Work autonomously, using specialist clinical reasoning skills to manage a caseload and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Support & Supervision: Supervise junior staff and students, offering guidance and training.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in MDT meetings and liaise with other agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Clinical Standards: Adhere to HCPC, RCOT guidelines, and Trust policies, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.
