Great opportunity to work as a Quality Champion for one of the UK's largest citrus & grape specialists.

Staffline is recruiting a Quality Champion to work in Alconbury.

The rate of pay is £12.45 per hour.

This is a full time role working 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off. The hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm

Transport is provided from Peterborough at 4 different locations for £8 per day to take you there and back!

Your Time at Work

As a Quality Champion, your responsibilities will include:

- Always ensure that you are acting in the best interests of the business, and not that of an individual or function, to include (but not limited to) Health, Safety and Environment, Business Integrity, Ethical Standards and Wellbeing.
- You are required to adhere to Food Safety, Quality, and Integrity Standards.
- Ensure products are produced safely through good manufacturing practices, that meet legislative requirements, specifications, quality, and integrity standards agreed with customers.
- Provide M&S quality standards training to all line's operatives (skilled & unskilled) and product quality defects to be removed during production.
- Train & refresher train all grape trimmers to ensure trimming techniques are followed & aligned to version activity. Set up of M&S quality standards at start of all production runs.
- Full understanding of the M&S quality requirements and specifications
- Highlight if insufficient graders are online to ensure the M&S quality standards can be attained.
- Ensure grader presence in UV tents when grading soft citrus is small or blind waste is noted within the raw material.
- Be the production team's "Go to" individual for all M&S quality or specification queries.
- Ensure any M&S quality-related concerns, issues or failings are escalated to Quality Shift Managers, Production Quality Manager, or product specialists.
- Frequently review final M&S packed product to validate M&S quality standards are being adhered to.
- Evidence online M&S Quality standard checks via Redzone (tablets)
- Support the quality team as and when requested by the Quality shift manager.
- Effective & clear communication across production and quality teams.
- Effectively promote a "Clean as you go policy''.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker would be IT literate, have good accuracy skills, and show good attention to detail.

You will show good communication and effective time management skills.

Citrus & grape product knowledge is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
