Cooper Lomaz is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing machinery for a motivated and flexible Worldwide Sales Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a highly specialised sector, with extensive worldwide travel.

Role Overview:As a Worldwide Sales Engineer, you will manage and grow client relationships, respond to enquiries, and represent the company at trade shows and customer meetings globally. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager while maintaining autonomy in your day-to-day activities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Visit customers and prospects with local agents to clarify requirements and follow up on enquiries
  • Handle incoming queries via telephone and email
  • Arrange and plan travel for sales trips
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the rubber industry and Barwell products
  • Assist in trade show preparation and attend trade shows as needed
  • Deliver presentations on new products to customers and prospects
  • Manage the sales process from quoting machinery to completion
  • Carry out trials on demo machines
  • Keep the Salesforce CRM system up-to-date

Training:Comprehensive training will be provided on all aspects of the role, with opportunities to suggest improvements and introduce new procedures.

Shift Pattern:

  • Office hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00; Friday, 08:30 - 14:00

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to two weeks away (abroad) at a time, often including weekends and short notice
